Unlocking Tier 6 With TRANSFORMATION POTION in Alchemy Factory

Unlocking Tier 6 With TRANSFORMATION POTION in Alchemy Factory

Hey, Alchemy Factory fans! Welcome back to the game that’s got us hooked on crafting potions, juggling resources, and perfecting those sweet production lines. If you love factory-building games, Alchemy Factory is your jam, and I’m here to share the strategies from my latest episode to help you dominate. We’ll tackle finishing a tech level, optimizing our base, and prepping for the next big leap. Whether you’re a pro or just starting, this blog post is packed with tips to streamline your base and soar through the tech tree. Let’s dive in!

What’s Going On with Alchemy Factory?

First, let’s address the big news: Alchemy Factory is currently off Steam due to a music-related DMCA issue. As of December 24, 2025, the devs are hustling to fix this and get the game back online. Don’t worry—this is just a speed bump. You can still follow along with my content, try out the designs we’re covering, and be ready to jump back in when Steam’s sorted. The game’s deep mechanics and satisfying gameplay make it worth the wait, trust me.

Today, we’re focusing on wrapping up the current tech level, revamping our production lines, and setting up for future success. This episode is about tying up loose ends and building smart, efficient systems. Let’s break it down!

Why You Should Max Out Each Tech Level

In Alchemy Factory, every tech level unlocks new recipes, machines, and resources. But here’s the deal: if you rush to the next tier without mastering the current one, you’re asking for trouble. Bottlenecks, missing items, and grumpy customers will haunt your shop. I always max out a tech level before moving on—it ensures all recipes are unlocked, your production is optimized, and your shop is stocked for any demand.

In this episode, we’re tackling a daily quest for turquoise potions and upgrading our healing potion setup to support multiple recipes. By doing this systematically, we’re laying a rock-solid foundation for the next tech level, where we’ll unlock chamomile seeds, pyrite, and rock salt. This method saves you from backtracking and keeps your base humming. Let’s see how it’s done.

Crafting Turquoise Potions: Simple but Game-Changing

Our daily quest calls for turquoise potions, made from healing potions and sand. It’s a basic recipe, but our current healing potion setup is a mess—outdated and barely producing 20 potions per second. Time for an overhaul! We’ll build a new production line that pumps out healing potions for turquoise potions, bandages, and shop sales, all while keeping things tidy and efficient.

Step 1: Ditching the Old Setup

The old healing potion line uses basic fertilizer and churns out a measly 20 potions per second. With advanced fertilizer, we can do way better. Plus, the setup’s a cluttered nightmare, not designed for the multiple recipes that need healing potions. Our goal? A modular system that cranks out 60 healing potions per minute to cover all our bases.

Step 2: Building a Slick New Production Line

Here’s how we create a compact, high-output healing potion system:

  • Inputs: Three fertilizer input lines kick things off, processed to produce 60 units of each ingredient per minute.
  • Processing: Ingredients hit crushers to form the components for healing potions, then split into three outputs: one for turquoise potions, one for bandages, and one for shop sales.
  • Lampstands for Smooth Flow: Lampstands guide items along conveyor belts, preventing jams and keeping everything flowing like a dream.
  • Outputs: Three dedicated lines ensure each recipe gets what it needs, with room to scale up later.

This setup is a thing of beauty—60 healing potions per minute, minimal space, and clean, easy-to-follow paths. It’s efficient and looks awesome, making it a breeze to spot and fix issues.

Step 3: Adding Turquoise Potions

With healing potions sorted, turquoise potions are a snap. They need healing potions and crushed sand, produced at 5 potions per minute. We set up a crushed sand line using wooden gears to crush stone, configured like this:

  • Crushers: Six crushers (two per input line) churn out enough crushed sand to keep up.
  • Mixing: Crushed sand meets healing potions in a mixer, hitting the 5-per-minute target.
  • Bug Fix: We hit a weird visual glitch (thanks, recent updates). A quick save and reload fixes it, reminding us to test and tweak as we go.

This turquoise potion line is lean and mean and slots perfectly into our new healing potion system, nailing the daily quest.

Streamlining Bandage Production

Bandages also need healing potions, so we dedicate one of our three outputs to them. The bandage line is super simple, using just 12 healing potions per minute. We set up a single machine to handle it, feeding directly to the shop. By tying bandages into our healing potion and turquoise setup, we’ve got a unified system that saves resources and keeps things organized.

Powering Up with a Coke Powder Production Line

Next up, we’re building a dedicated coke powder line. Coke powder is a top-tier fuel used in recipes like transformation potions, and scattering fuel sources across your base is a recipe for chaos. A centralized coke powder build will simplify everything and set us up for future recipes.

Step 1: Crafting the Coke Powder Build

This line is designed to produce a full belt of 60 units per minute, with a bit used for self-sustaining fuel. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Inputs: Coal feeds in via belts, placed two tiles from the edge for perfect spacing.
  • Furnaces: Coal gets processed into coke, then ground into coke powder using four grinders.
  • Consolidation: Coke powder hits a single belt, with a buffer box to handle demand spikes.
  • Fuel Loop: A small chunk of coke powder fuels the furnaces, keeping the system running.

After fuel use, we get about 58 units per minute—plenty for now and scalable for later.

Step 2: Connecting to the Base

We extend the coke powder belt across the base, letting other production lines tap in as needed. This eliminates the need for duplicate fuel setups, saving space and headaches. This coke powder build is a game-changer, paving the way for complex recipes down the road.

Tackling Transformation Potions: The Big Challenge

The episode’s grand finale is a transformation potion production line, needing coke powder, gloom spores, and yeast powder. This is our toughest build yet, requiring serious planning to nail the ratios.

Step 1: Breaking Down the Recipe

Transformation potions produce 10 per minute and need:

  • Coke Powder: We’ll use our dedicated belt for consistency.
  • Gloom Spores: Made from plume fungus and yeast powder.
  • Yeast Powder: Requires red currant, soap powder, linseed, and plant ash.

The tricky part is yeast powder—our old soap powder setup only makes 20 units per minute, but we need 30. Time to build a new line from the ground up.

Step 2: Yeast Powder Production

We design a yeast powder line to hit 60 units per minute, matching belt speed for scalability. Here’s the setup:

  • Inputs: One line each for red currant, flax, and sage, processed into linseed, plant ash, and soap powder.
  • Processing:
  • Sage burns in a furnace for plant ash.
  • Flax turns into linseed via extractors.
  • Red currant blends into fruit wine, a yeast powder precursor.
  • Grinders: Two grinders make 20 soap powders per minute—a bottleneck we’ll fix later.
  • Consolidation: Ingredients hit a blender for yeast powder, stored in a buffer.

Step 3: Gloom Spores & Transformation Potions

Yeast powder feeds into gloom spore production, which needs plume fungus and makes 20 units per minute. We then combine gloom spores, yeast powder, and coke powder (from our belt) to craft transformation potions. The line works, but the soap powder bottleneck drops yeast powder to 10 units per minute, limiting us to 6.7 transformation potions per minute. It’s functional, but we’ll double sage production next episode to hit the full 10.

Gearing Up for the Next Tech Level

With turquoise, bandages, coke powder, and transformation potions done, we complete the main quest and unlock the next tech level. This brings chamomile seeds, pyrite, rock salt, and four upgrade points. We use the points to double factory and logistics speed, boosting belt speed to 90 units per minute. It burns more fuel, but our coke powder build has us covered.

The new tech level opens doors to enhanced grinders, refiners, and copper recipes. We’re also eyeing a “mega project” that’ll be a cash cow. For now, we’re consolidating our builds and prepping for copper-bearing and resource-heavy recipes.

Top Tips & Blueprints for Success

This episode shows why planning, optimizing, and adapting are key in Alchemy Factory. Here’s what to remember:

  1. Max Out Tech Levels: Finish every recipe to avoid bottlenecks and keep customers happy.
  2. Build Modular: Compact, scalable designs like our healing potion setup save space and scale easily.
  3. Centralize Resources: A single coke powder build streamlines fuel for all recipes.
  4. Test & Tweak: Bugs and ratio issues happen—test your builds and adjust as needed.
