Davy Jones’ Locker Trophy Guide: Lowest Point Location in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

The Davy Jones’ Locker trophy (Bronze) requires swimming to the lowest point on the map. It’s straightforward once you have diving access.

Prerequisite

• Complete Sequence 6: Diving for Medicines (unlocks the Diving Bell for underwater shipwrecks).

Exact Location: The Black Trench

• Region: Castillo de Jagua (south of Havana).
• Coordinates: 184, 425.
• Marked automatically on your map after the prerequisite quest.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Sail to The Black Trench underwater shipwreck (northwest corner of the marked area).
2. Use the Diving Bell to descend.
3. From the drop point, swim forward and slightly right toward the large sunken shipwreck.
4. Locate the air barrel on the ship for oxygen.
5. From there, swim straight down into the dark trench (follow the deepest path, often toward the west).
6. At the bottom, find the broken/sunken Diving Bell.
7. Swim near or around it — the trophy should unlock. Circle if needed.

Tips for Success:

• Watch your oxygen — use air barrels and surface as needed.
• There are jellyfish and sea life — no major enemies at the bottom.
• The trench is very deep and dark — head to the lowest visible point.

This is one of the easier environmental trophies and counts toward exploration completion. Pair it with other diving collectibles in the area.
