House of The Locust Full Escape Guide (Roblox)

To complete the full escape chain and get the “Escaped” badge, you need three items:

1. Keycard
2. Key
3. Wirecutters

Once you have all three, take them to the elevator door at the far end of the map and unlock it to escape.

1. Keycard (Most Dangerous)

• The Locust carries the Keycard on its body.
• The safest way: Trick the Locust into getting stuck in the level geometry (walls/corners).
• Use the slide (sprint + C) to bait it into running into a wall repeatedly.
• Once it is stuck, carefully grab the Keycard through the wall.
• Be extremely careful — the Locust can still kill you through walls if you get too close while interacting.

2. Key

• The Key is randomized every run.
• Search every cupboard/cabinet on the map.
• There is no visual indicator — you must interact with all of them until you find it.
• Work with teammates in multiplayer to cover more ground faster.

3. Wirecutters (Cube Puzzle)

You must find and place three colored cubes:

Yellow Cube

• Face the red, blue, and yellow platforms.
• Turn around and take the path to the right.
• Keep running until you see a low slot at the bottom of the wall.
• Slide through the slot. The Yellow Cube is on your left.

Red Cube

• Facing the colored platforms, turn right.
• Climb over the white wooden wall on the right.
• Take an immediate left, then follow the right pathway. The Red Cube is there.

Blue Cube

• From the Red Cube location, continue along the same path to the end. The Blue Cube is at the end of that path.

Place the Red, Blue, and Yellow cubes on their matching platforms. The Wirecutters will drop from the ceiling.

Final Escape

1. Collect all three items (Keycard + Key + Wirecutters).
2. Head to the elevator door at the far end of the map.
3. Use the items to unlock it.
4. Enter and escape.

Essential Tips for Survival

• Movement is key: Sprint (Shift), jump, and especially slide (sprint + C) are your best tools for evasion and reaching hidden spots.
• The Locust is fast but gets stuck easily in geometry — use this constantly.
• Multiplayer is strongly recommended so players can split the tasks (one hunts the Key, one does the cubes, one focuses on trapping the Locust for the Keycard).
• Keep a low profile and avoid open straight-line chases.
• The map is maze-like with many dead ends — learn the layout over a few runs.
