Fisch uses Roblox’s default camera system for looking around, casting, and aiming. There is no unique in-game “Invert Y” toggle specific to Fisch beyond what the Roblox client provides. Inversion is controlled at the Roblox level and affects mouse, gamepad, and (in most cases) touch input.
Official Way: Roblox Settings (Recommended)
- Launch Roblox and join Fisch (or any experience).
- Press Esc (or click the Roblox icon in the top-left) to open the menu.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Look for Camera Inverted (sometimes labeled “Invert Camera Y-Axis”, “Enable Invert Y Axis”, or under Video/Camera options).
- Toggle it On to invert the Y-axis (mouse/stick up = look down; down = look up).
Toggle it Off for normal behavior (mouse/stick up = look up).
This setting is account-wide and persists across most Roblox experiences that use the default camera scripts.
Notes:
- It only affects the vertical (Y) axis — left/right (X) stays normal.
- Some older reports mentioned a separate “Video → Enable Invert Y Axis” path; the main Settings → Camera Inverted option is the current one.
- If the option is missing, the game may be using a custom camera script that doesn’t expose it. In that case try the workarounds below.
Controller / Gamepad
- The same Roblox Camera Inverted setting usually applies to the right stick’s Y-axis.
- Check your platform’s own controller settings (Xbox, PlayStation, or Steam Input) if the Roblox toggle doesn’t fully invert the stick.
- On some setups you can also invert axes in the Roblox Mobile/Console control schemes, but the client setting is the primary control.
Workarounds If the Setting Doesn’t Work or Is Missing
- Reset Roblox camera settings
Esc → Settings → look for any Reset or default camera options and apply them, then re-toggle Invert. - Check for accidental invert
The setting can sometimes turn itself on due to bugs or previous sessions. Simply toggle it Off if everything feels reversed. - Rod-specific quirks
A past update noted that certain rods (e.g., when rolling for specific variants) could invert controls temporarily. Switching rods or rejoining the server usually fixes it. - External tools (advanced / last resort)
- Mouse software (Logitech, Razer, etc.) that can invert the Y-axis at the driver level.
- Steam Input or controller remapping software to invert the stick Y-axis.
These affect the whole system or Steam, so use carefully.
- Rejoin / restart
Leave the server, fully close Roblox, and rejoin. This clears temporary camera state. - Mobile
On mobile the invert option (if available) is also in the Roblox settings menu. Touch drag direction follows the same Camera Inverted toggle.
Extra Tips for Fisch
- Camera sensitivity is also adjustable in the same Roblox Settings menu — lower it if inverted controls feel too fast while aiming casts or during the reeling minigame.
- First-person vs third-person can feel different with inversion; test both.
- If you’re using macros or AutoHotkey scripts for AFK fishing, inverted camera can break automated look-down actions — disable invert or adjust the script.
The Roblox Camera Inverted toggle is the correct and supported way to invert the Y-axis in Fisch. Toggle it once and it should stay set for future sessions. If it still doesn’t behave as expected after toggling and rejoining, report it in the Fisch Discord or Roblox support with your platform (PC/mobile/console) details.
