Hey everyone, Divleen here! If you’re part of the DNA community, you already know the new Fina update dropped and completely shook up the meta. Fina is an absolute monster of a support unit; her signature weapon is insane, and the devs even sent out two rounds of compensation because launch was… Let’s just say “a little spicy.”
But today we need to have a real talk about the brand-new permanent endgame mode: Immersive Theater (Classic + Featured + Immortal Repertoire), specifically how the Immortal Repertoire reward structure feels extremely punishing for 99% of the player base right now.
The Good Stuff First (Because the Mode IS Awesome)
- You can get a completely free copy of the new limited character (Fina right now)
- You can get her signature weapon for free
- Tons of other goodies (materials, tickets, etc.)
- It’s permanent content that will rotate every season
That part is genuinely incredible and super F2P-friendly on paper. Huge props to the devs for adding a way to earn limited units without pulling.
The Problem: The Immortal Repertoire Shop & Ticket Stub Income
Here’s the breakdown that has a huge chunk of the community upset (and honestly, rightfully so):
After you clear Act 12 (which is already the “clear once for the big rewards” point), you only earn 10 ticket stubs per act cleared from Act 13 onward.
For reference, here are some of the most important limited-time (reset monthly) items in the shop and their costs:
| Item | Cost (Ticket Stubs) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Weapon Resonance Letters (x10 packs) | 300–400 each pack | You need multiple packs for full dupes |
| Yum Yum Milk (extremely rare mat) | 1000 | One of the single most valuable items |
| Sharpening Potions (bulk) | 600–800 | Critical for weapon smelting |
| Projectiles (bulk) | 600–800 | Same deal |
Even after pushing to Act 15 with a pretty well-invested account (max skills on Lady Nipple, +5 smelt Wayne Wraith + Emblem Florence, decent sub-stats), I only had around 20 stubs left after buying everything that doesn’t reset.
That means to buy even ONE Yum Yum Milk I would need to farm an additional 98–100 Acts at 10 stubs each… That’s literally 100+ extra floors of increasingly difficult content.
The Math is Actually Insane
- 10 stubs per clear after Act 12
- Yum Yum Milk = 1000 stubs → ~100 extra clears needed
- Full weapon letters (let’s say 4–5 packs) = another 1500–2000 stubs → 150–200 more clears
We’re talking potentially hundreds of runs for mid-investment or casual players. Even whales are saying floor 40–50+ starts to feel rough without +10 everything and perfect builds.
My Personal Take (Not Doomposting, Just Real Talk)
This is marketed as permanent endgame content, which is fine, but the current stub income makes it feel like only the top 0.1% of players (people with multiple +10 units and perfect gear) can reasonably clear the shop every month.
For everyone else—even low-to-mid spenders and dedicated F2P players—you’re forced to choose:
- Get the weapon dupes/letters, OR
- Get the Yum Yum Milk, OR
- Get the permanent materials
You literally can’t have everything without an absurd grind.
What Would Fix It (Reasonable Suggestions)
- Buff stub income after Act 12 from 10 → 25–30 per clear
- OR let players buy all non-limited items (letters + Yum Yum Milk) just by clearing Act 12, then keep the low income for the extra projectiles/sharpening potions as “whale rewards.”
- Add a daily or weekly cap that’s actually reachable for normal humans.
Final Verdict
Immersive Theater is an amazing addition, and I love that we can earn limited units for free. But right now the Immortal Repertoire shop feels wildly disrespectful to anyone who isn’t in the top 50 on the global leaderboard.
Casual and mid-core players are basically locked out of the best monthly rewards unless they no-life the mode for hundreds of runs.
Let me know in the comments:
- How far did you get in Immortal Repertoire?
- Do you think 10 stubs per act is fair?
- Are you skipping the weapon letters to secure Yum Yum Milk instead?
