The Sinking City 2 Guide – Ex Oblivione Documents Locations, Route, and List

Note: The Sinking City 2 launched very recently (August 18, 2026). At the time of writing, no complete public guide specifically titled “Ex Oblivione Documents” has been fully documented yet. “Ex Oblivione” is the name of a classic H.P. Lovecraft short story, so these documents are almost certainly a lore/codex collection tied to that theme.

Below is the best currently available information based on early walkthroughs and collectible tracking in the game.

What Are the Ex Oblivione Documents?

These appear to be part of the game’s larger document/codex system (similar to other collections such as “New Day Codex,” “Arkham Tales,” “Call to Awakening,” and “Lost Letters”). They are lore items that expand on dream-related and oblivion-themed narrative elements.

Suggested Collection Route (Early Game)

  1. Starting Apartment
Thoroughly search the living room, kitchen, and workroom. These rooms turn blue on the map once fully explored.
  2. Boat & Pier Section
After the explosion sequence, dock at the left pier and collect the “Lost Letters – Death Awaits” document along with any nearby items.
  3. Miskatonic University Library
  • Grab the Library Map from the wall.
  • In the long flooded corridor, turn left for “Lost Letters – Dominion.”
  • Continue into the reading room and check the far-left desk for the Internal Memorandum.
  1. Continue exploring side rooms, desks, and notice boards as you progress through Arkham. Many documents are placed on tables, pinned to walls, or found near corpses.

Tips for Finding All Documents

  • Rooms and areas turn blue on the investigation map once you have collected everything available in them.
  • Always check desks, tables, notice boards, and bodies.
  • Some documents are tied to investigation clues and may only appear or become readable after certain story progress.
  • Use the in-game codex/menu to track which collections you are missing.

Current Status

Because the game has only just released, a full dedicated list and optimized route specifically labeled “Ex Oblivione Documents” is not yet widely available in guides. As more players complete the game and community wikis update, a complete numbered list should appear soon.

Would you like me to expand this into a full early-game document checklist (covering all currently known codex entries), or focus on a specific chapter/area?
